The Kangertech Protank 3 double coil, bottom fed tank came out in late 2013 and has had some mixed reviews. Although the Protank 2 was loved by most, the Protank 3 had some issues with a loose mouthpiece and leaking dual coil atomizers.
Since its introduction, the Protank 3 has redesigned their dual coil atomizers to the satisfaction of most users. But does the Protank 3 outperform the Protank 2? See my Protank 3 review in the video above.
ProTank 3 Tips & Tricks
- The tank should always have between 25% and 75% eLiquid inside. This helps keep a vacuum and allows the ProTank to operate properly.
- Always ensure your bottom base is secured to the glass tank. This prevents inadvertent spillage.
- If you experience gurgling, remove the tank from the battery. Then place a towel under the battery end of the ProTank . Gently blow into the drip tip mouth piece a few times to remove the excess eLiquid.
Incidentally, if you are thinking of getting either the Protank 2 or the Protank 3, you really should check out the Mt. Baker Vapor website. They seem to have the best deal on these tanks ($6.70 for the Protank 3 and $11.00 for the Protank 2).
Some users have complained about the drip tip being too loose. I didn’t experience this at all and it felt as tight as that of the Protank 2. Others found it very airy or had too hard of a pull. You may want to add the Adjustable Air Flow to your tank for just $5.75. This can also be found on Mt. Baker Vapor website.
